Meet Our Team
A passionate group of educators, researchers, and technologists united by a single mission: helping every child thrive.

Andrea Johnson
CEO & Founder
Andrea Johnson is the heart and soul of Teaching It Right. With over 20 years of experience in education and a degree from Brigham Young University, she has dedicated her career to helping children with special needs succeed.
As a special education teacher, Andrea witnessed firsthand the struggles children with autism face in learning social skills. When she met Donny—a student whose meltdown in her classroom went unaddressed because no one knew how to help—she knew she had to create a solution.
"Every child deserves the support they need to connect with the world. That's not just our mission—it's my personal commitment."
Andrea used her life savings to build Teaching It Right and later secured NSF SBIR Phase I and Phase II grants, validating her research-based approach to social skills education.
