Where It All Started
One student's difficult moment inspired a better way to teach social skills.

20+ years of experience supporting students with autism and their families
Every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and confident in the moments that matter.
After years in the classroom, I saw how many children—neurodivergent and neurotypical—were struggling with social skills but didn't have easy, practical ways to build them.
We created We Are Friends to make social learning more inclusive, relatable, and effective—so every child has the tools to connect, communicate, and thrive in their world.
